River is scenic & peaceful and staff is helpful. Great fishing above the dam from the canoe. What a beautiful way to spend a day. Monday May 25, 2009 04:22:00 PM EDT Our trip with Northbrook Canoe Co. couldn't have been better. We felt as if we were treated like family - in case you left it had home, they had bug spray (which we needed) and sunblock (which we didn't, we lived in Arizona....we shower with sunblock as a habit.) They even had watershoes available at low prices in case they were forgotten. This was our kid's first trip and they had the "best day ever" (hour and a half trip).
